Veterans Day Greetings to the 12th CAVFamily

Greetings to all and a sincere and heart felt --THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND WELCOME HOME-- from the Colonel who was proud to have served with you some 40 plus years ago- WOW-- has it been that long?

I am sure all of you remember some fallen comrade and shed a tear or two - but you are not alone - we all do that with deep respect for those we lost. STAND PROUD AND CARRY ON - they would like you to so just that.

The Branson Reunion was a great success due the great efforts of Doug Warde, Thomas Crabtree and a lot of others. Hope you plan to attend the next Reunion at Ft. Hood, this is the official meeting of our outfit and meeting with the active duty troops is a positive plus. SO SADDLE UP AND MOVE OUT - SEE YOU THERE.

AGAIN I WANT TO SAY- WHAT A HONOR IT WAS TO COMMAND THE 12TH CAV TROOPERS IN VIET NAM - YOU DID THE FIGHTING- I AND OTHER COMMANDERS PUT YOU ON THE GROUND TO DO JUST THAT - AND THAT YOU DID.

As we move on, have a thankful Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas-we have one great organization

Some ideas from my readings - hope they make you think and remember and act.
The man who moves the mountain begins by carrying a small stone.

Just because nobody complains doesn't mean that all parachutes are perfect ( Get them riggers on the ball)

I like this one - It is not enough to have a good mind, the main thing is to use it well

To all: Have a great Holiday Season and keep well. I salute you all. What a great group of solid men.

Sylvia and I send our Warmest Greetings to all.

GOD BLESS
JIM DINGEMAN,
HCOR 12th Cav
