2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment Ball

We have been invited to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment Annual Ball by LTC Michael D. Bajema, Commanding Officer of the battalion. Event to be held in Georgetown, Texas on Thursday June 8, 2017. Veterans of both 1st and 2nd of the 12th Cav are invited. Tickets are $50.00 dollars per person. Cocktails at 6:00 pm and the Ball begins at 7:00 pm.
We would like our Vietnam veterans to attend to show our support for the current troopers of the Regiment. It is a great opportunity to mingle with the current active duty troopers and share experiences with them. This is a formal affair and dress code for the active duty troopers is Class A uniform. It has been requested that we wear business casual, i.e.: slacks, shirt, tie and sport coat as a minimum dress. If you have a suit or tuxedo, even better.
LTC Bajema has asked if we can make some donations to help young privates pay for their tickets. Their pay is under $800.00 a month and they could use some help in paying for their tickets. The 12th Cavalry Regiment Association will make a donation from the Trooper Support Fund, but individual contributions would be greatly appreciated and should be mailed to:
LTC Michael D. Bajema CO,
2nd Bn, 12th Cavalry Reg’t
3105 Legend Oaks Blvd.
Belton, Texas 76513

Col. Dingeman, Doug Warden and several others have already signed up to attend the Ball. We would like to see you join us. We are arranging car pools to get everyone to the Sheraton Hotel in Georgetown and back to Killeen.

If you have signed up for the Welcoming Mixer at the 1st Cav reunion, you may wish to cancel that event in order to attend the Ball. Tickets to the Ball may be purchased through Paypal, as per the below instructions:
1) Sign in or create an account on PayPal
2) Click the button "Pay or send money" in the top right
3) Drop down option "Pay for goods or services"
4) Type in bestballever2017@gmail.com address
5) Choose the amount to pay (each ticket is $50)
6) Include the names of the people that are attending the ball (i.e. John and Jane Doe)
7) If the address is correct, press continue to the confirmation page.

If this is not acceptable or too difficult, you can obtain tickets through Klaus Lachmann. Send a check for $50.00 per ticket along with names and address and I will obtain the tickets for you.
If you have questions, please contact Klaus Lachmann at treasurer12cav@gmail.com or call 931-539-0405. We look forward to your participation.
