FOUR TROOPERS RECEIVE DISTINGUISHED MEMBERS OF
THE 12TH REGIMENT AWARDS IN MINNEAPOLIS
The Honorary Colonel of the 12th Cavalry
Regiment, Jim Dingeman, presented certificates appointing four troopers the
lifetime honor as Distinguished Members of the 12th Cavalry Regiment.
Troopers Thomas Crabtree, Steven Aguilar, Jose Heredia and Doug Warden were
honored at the 12th Cavalry luncheon in Minneapolis on June 5, 2010.
Crabtree was recognized for his work on the planning committee of annual
12th Cav Branson, Missouri Reunion. Troopers Aguilar and Heredia were
recognized for their work in representing the 12th Cavalry Regiment
Association at the funerals of active duty 12th Cav Troopers. Warden
was recognized for his work on the planning committee of the annual Branson
reunion and for taking over the position of webmaster at the untimely death
of Trooper Charlie Bader.
Only 8 Troopers in the history of the 12th Cavalry had been awarded this
distinction. Now the total is 12 Troopers who are DMOR's.
